Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Hey guys! Okay, so I have never been one to get fancy brand foundation from Sephora. Like ever. I wear foundation almost everyday and when I do, I tend to put a mask on (similar to Jeffree Star), thus using a lot of foundation and opting to buy drugstore brand to avoid spending a stupid amount of money on foundation.

For some stupid reason though, my trip to Sephora 2 weeks ago ended up with me buying a Too Faced Born This Way Foundation (and a beautyblender, but thats Monday’s post). It took me 2 weeks to get to this post because I wanted to really be sure what my opinion was. So, here’s my review!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

Sephora – $39 (I am in shade Ivory. cause i’m super pale.)

What I love about this: The coverage is actually pretty amazing. It blends in super easy (if you use a beauty blender that is – like I do) and even when I put my concealer over it (which is just a drug store brand) it blends well with that as well. The contour goes on pretty good over it and my dipbrow also goes on pretty well. A little goes a very long way, only one pump of the formula does it for me and I like to have complete full coverage flawless make up everyday.

What I don’t like about this: You absolutely need to watch in store. Because the container is frosty, the color that the container makes it to be isn’t the color of the foundation. Ivory looks a lot more pale inside of the container but when I put it on, it was a lot more yellowy than I thought and I almost cried thinking it wouldn’t match (thank god for my beauty blender). The price is also very steep for a semi-small package.

Overall opinion: I really like this foundation. Like a lot. Depending on how fast I go through the first bottle I have really depends on if I buy another one or not. It is a rather steep price and if I have to continuously re-buy it every month i’ll go to a drug store, but if I can make it last at least a good 2-3 months I’ll buy it again.
