Fandom Friday on a Wednesday?! Whaaat? This post has been delayed so long, and I just wanted to get it up there. Marvel is something that is very near and dear to my heart. I hope that in my film career I can be apart of one of their incredible movies. There are so many things to love about this company – not only are the comics legendary but the movies are blowing out the box office every chance they have. Click below the cut to see my favorites in the Marvel Universe.
Marvel is firstly known for their movies (besides their comics, obviously) over anything else. The movies are known to be spectacular and pretty much every single one gets an amazing review in the box office. My favorite Marvel movie of all time has to be Captain America the Winter Solider. It will always be on the top, with the Guardians of the Galaxy movies coming close in second (yes both of them – I can’t pick) and Civil War after those.
I’m getting more and more excited with each passing day for Black Panther to be released next year because HELL they finally got a good casting agent! The fact that the only two white people I saw in that trailer were Martin Freeman and Anthony Serkis made me happy inside – because its not a movie for the white people. It’s a movie for the African Americans to finally be represented correctly.
Marvel’s netflix shows are a gift from God himself. Honestly, there is not an episode of any four shows that I hated. Maybe I did like Iron Fist a little less than Daredevil – which is my FAVORITE – but it still wasn’t god-awful. My list goes: Daredevil, Jessica, Luke & Iron Fist. I can absolutely not WAIT for the Defenders to come out. It looks like it is going to be sick and I can not wait for Jessica and Matt to interact – they will get so sick of each other it will be hysterical.
I was addicted to Agents of Shield for the first three seasons. Now I’ll admit I haven’t watched any of season four – like at all. Not for any particular reason, they just changed the time and I forgot about it. Now AGENT CARTER, on the other hand, I always had time for. I’m so sad still that they canceled it after the second season but it doesn’t surprise me. In my opinion, the second season was not as good as the first. They should have kept her in New York where she belonged and built on more from that.
Now I know that this isn’t as good as my other Fandom Friday posts, but to be honest I’m still not liking how I have them set up. It’s a major work in progress and until I get a solid layout figured out I will be putting them on hold. Instead on Fridays, I’ll be using 5 Fandom Friday from Nerdy Girlie! So there will still be posts, just not this series for now.
Anyway, what is your favorite thing from Marvel?! Sound off below.
