2017 Reading List

I have a lot of books I need to read and even more that I find interesting and need to go out and buy. I took some time to go onto Goodreads and assemble a bookshelf full of the books that I have purchased and need to read. You can follow me and that bookshelf specifically here and take a look at what I keep buying to read! The shelf ‘Need to Read’ is the shelf where I have purchased the book and desperately need to read and review it, the shelf ‘Want to Read’ is mainly just books that catch my eye. So without further ado, here is my 2017 Reading List thus far! This is in no particular order in which I’ll read them, just the first one is what I’m going to read first.

I Take You by Eliza Kennedy

This was a book I got through the Blogging for Books website about 2 years ago. Yes, I’ve had this book for 2 years and I’m just going to get to it now. It seems to be about a woman who’s going to get married in a few short weeks but doesn’t actually want anything to do with marriage, so I’m interested to read it and see what happens and how much I like it. Plus, Blogging for Books has The Sun is Also a Star up and I REALLY wanna read that but you have to review the book you’ve been given before you can request another one.

Replica by Lauren Oliver

Replica was an impulse buy when I went to go pick up the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay. I was totally just planning on going into Barnes and Noble to just get that and I ended up picking up this one too. It seems like the book is about two girls with entirely different stories and somehow have to interlace (at least I hope they interlace). It’s basically like two books in one and HOW COOL IS THAT?? TWO BOOKS!! IN ONE!!

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I’ve heard so many awesome things about this book that I just had to read it for myself. It’s literally just seeming to be about a fangirl, which I am one. Everybody that I’ve talked to about this book has said that they love it so I bought it to give it a whirl and see how I like it.

Everything Everything

This one seems like it’s really interesting. I found out about this one through Zoella’s first book club. Obviously I can’t get her bookclub cause I’m from the U.S but I went out and got it anyways and I’m so glad I did because this is another one where everyone I’ve talked to said that it’s fantastic. It’s about a main character who’s disease prevents her from going outside but then a boy moves in next door and she seems to have to cope with that along with liking him.

Love & Gelato

This was an impulse buy when I went to go pick up Fangirl. The story seemed really good and interesting and it didn’t seem like an average love story, which is what interested me. It seemed like it had a lot of different themes that were quite serious which is what I enjoyed most about reading the summary and why I bought it.

Talking Underwater by Melissa Corliss Delorenzo

Fun fact: I babysit for Melissa sometimes. So its only natural that I would want to read her book, it’s long overdue that I read this one. It’s also my mom’s copy and she wants it back.

Keep checking my Goodreads shelves to see more of what I want to read this year! I’m afraid I have missed a few but these are the ones that I know for a fact that I’ve purchased and need to read before I go out and buy anymore books.
