Versatile Blogger Award 2018

Another day, another awards post. I’m kinda shocked I’ve actually been getting these lately – but I guess its good for me cause it means that I actually HAVE to write things.

I was nominated by Alex mcHotstuff maybe about a week ago – honestly a new record for me being able to get this post out. Woohoo!! Thanks Alex!

My nominations will be at the end of the post cause yes, I am actually going to nominate a couple people!

So, let’s get right to it!

  • If you are nominated, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award
  • Thank the person who gave you the award
  • Include a link to their blog
  • Select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly
  • Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
  • Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself

1. I’m from Massachusetts.

This is an easy one people probably do know, but if you’re new here then  you don’t. I’m from Massachusetts and lived there all my life and recently moved to Fort Lauderdale for work. I live with my college roommate’s family in their guest room that they are very graciously letting me stay in.

2. I’ve never been overseas.

I’ve been to Canada, but that’s it. I barely count it, honestly. I’d love to travel overseas to England or Ireland to start, then check out the rest of Europe. I just don’t speak other languages so traveling is going to be slightly difficult. And I’m broke. That’s the main issue.

3. I’ve met many, many actors.

I have met John Barrowman, Karen Gillan, Alex Kingston, Matt Smith, Mark Shepperd, Jason Mamoa, Hayley Atwell, Brett Dalton, Stan Lee and (my most important) Sebastian Stan. I spend to much money on conventions but they were all worth every single penny that made me go broke.

4. I’m newer to video game/nerd culture.

I only read Harry Potter in late 2009/2010 when I was in middle school, very late to the game compared to other people. After that I started getting more and more into things but shit really hit the fan in 2012 when I started stanning Marvel.

Video games however I am VERY new too, as I didn’t even consider myself apart of literally any of it because I thought people would make fun of me for only really playing the Sims. I still really only play the Sims 4 but I also love Stardew Valley (a lot) and I love to kick me some ass on Splatoon 2.

5. I’ve never played any sort of Zelda game. I’m sorry.

Please forgive me. I’m working on it. I just need to wait until after Smash comes out and then I’m gonna download it for the Switch, I promise.

6. My first Sims game was actually not even the real game.

So I bought the Sims 2 in Toys R Us, and didn’t realize until I got home that I had only gotten a stuff pack. My mom took me back to buy the base game and the rest is history. I owned the entire Sims 2, currently own the entire Sims 3 on their original disks and have the entirety of the released Sims 4 games.

7. Give me Star Wars or give me death.

This is my main love. I adore Star Wars. I love everything about it, the fantasy worlds, the space adventures, Leia Organa, Kylo Ren, everything. I have the Rebel Alliance tattooed on my back in water color and a Porg on my window. Did I mention Kylo Ren yet?

And finally….. here are my nominations! Probably not gonna get all the way to 15, but worth a shot.

I hope you enjoyed reading those! I look forward to reading everyone else’s!

Wow, you never been to the UK but met both Matt Smith and Karen Gillian!!!!
Ok, I guess they don’t have to stay in the UK either, so it’s not THAT crazy, but it’s still nuts that you met so many famous people.
Maybe one day, I’ll be on that list of yours, too.

Thanks for the nomination. I’ll get to it by the end of the year.
