Star Wars: The Clone Wars Show Review

Hello everyone and welcome! Today this is something I have been dying to write for quite some time, but I wanted to split up Star Wars content so it wasn’t just a whole lot of it at once. I’m sorry that this has taken so long – I mentioned in my last post that I’m working at the Superbowl since its by my area and I’ve just been so tired that I get home, shower, eat, and pass out.

Also I would keep forgetting to make the main image on my computer. But Procreate on my iPad actually works just as well – so I made this with that and now we’re good on the behind the scenes stuff thats been delaying me.

Today I am going to be reviewing seasons 1-6 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars aka my favorite show on Disney+ right about now. Set after Episode 2 and before Episode 3, Clone Wars give you a more in-depth look at some lore, introduces you to fun new characters, and shows you what really happened during the Clone War.

If you want to know what I thought read on below!

This post has taken me so long to write that literally the trailer for season 7 has come out. Here’s that if you wanna watch it:

I’m going to just start out by saying that I absolutely love this show. It’s fun, makes you feel good, and it has all the characters we know and love with the addition of some new ones. If you are thinking of watching this I would say absolutely, 100% watch it. There’s a short movie you need to watch beforehand titled the exact same thing and I would say watch that before the show, but I didn’t do that and I still got it.

If you want to watch both animated shows (this and Rebels which will have a review at a later date once I finish it) I recommend watching this first. Actually, I would stress you have to watch this first in order to understand the finale of season 2 of Rebels.

The main thing I love about this show is it shows us different sides fo the characters we know. Take Anakin Skywalker – we see him in a different light in this show that we don’t see in any of the movies. He’s just angry all the time in the movies but in the show, you see him in a much different light – he’s softer, still determined, but also a teacher.

Yes, friends. They gave Anakin Skywalker – the man who fucks up everything and doesn’t listen, a padawan. And she is the absolute best character in the whole show, in my opinion.

I love Ahsoka Tano. I love her because she’s a strong Jedi, I love her because she does what’s right, I love her because she challenges Anakin. They are perfect for each other in a father-daughter master-padawan kind of way: they are almost the same in which they’ll defy others if they think there’s a better way or a right way to do things.

This show has me by the neck. I can’t wait to watch this at it comes out and see how they tie into ROTS – cause it looks like they overlap and ohhhhh man. I know that I am not ready for Order 66, Anakin’s turn, and all the masters dying. But I am excited for more Ahsoka.

That’s about all I have to say on Clone Wars!! I highly recommend this show and would say that if you’re into Star Wars and the prequels then this is most certainly for you.

I’ll have a Rebels review up once I finish watching it – I’m on season 4 so I think I’m nearly there.

I’ll see you when I see you! If anyone cares to hear about my Superbowl stuff let me know and I can write about the experience – follow me on Twitter and Instagram (my personal one, not the blog one that I always forget about) for peaks and stuff!

I can’t wait for the next season, either. And I’m with you; I love seeing sides of the characters that we didn’t see in the movies.

I tried watching the first couple episodes, but I didn’t feel moved to keep continuing in watching it. I know I should, so I may go back and rewatch it eventually. It just didn’t capture me like everyone else had said

I’ve had a lot of people say it took them until after season 3 to get into it – so thats perfectly fine! I’ll always reccomend going back and giving it a try because I just love it but if its not your thing than it’s not your thing.

I am not a Star Wars fan but I have an officemate who is and his table has a bunch of star wars figure, LOL. I must admit though Clone Wars is by all means worth the price of the prequels.
