HOLY HELL GUYS. On this day, April 12, 2019, Star Wars fans were blessed by the forces that be with a new trailer and a name reveal for Episode 9. Before we literally go any further with this post, go yourself a favor and just… watch:
Now that you’ve done that, we’re gonna talk/shout/scream about some thoughts I have about this movie so far. Warning: obviously there will be spoilers ahead because that’s the whole point of this post. Go on at your own choice.
It took me a while to think of what to say. On March 22, 2019 Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins announced that after its 15th season, the hit show – my show – Supernatural would be coming to an end.
15 whole seasons (technically 14 at the moment), over 300 episodes. Everybody who’s a fan of the show knew that eventually this day would come. We just knew we weren’t going to be ready.
I didn’t even see the videos before finding out, one of my friends texted a group chat with me and another one of our friends asking us if we saw. Then I saw the tweets from the boys. And I don’t like being on my phone at work, but I was glued to my phone for a solid 30 minutes texting my friends and trying to cope with my feelings.
I am emotionally invested in this show. I don’t know how it happened, but it did. I was told ‘my condolences’ when I shared the link. It feels like I lost a part of my soul and I don’t know why.
This isn’t just any show, this is my show. So Supernatural, before you go, I have a few words to say.
I can’t tell you the amount of times over the past few weeks that I was told to watch the Umbrella Academy. It seemed like everybody I talked to that knows me told me to watch it because ‘its right up your alley!’, which is weird and freaky shit. It came up in every conversation I had with my boyfriend since he finished watching it a coupe weeks ago.
Ladies and gents, on Tuesday March 19th, I finally caved. I bought myself a cheap (like $160, but on sale and compared to others it was good for me) TV after saving my pennies for a while, fully loaded with Amazon Fire TV already installed into the TV – all I had to do was install the apps that I wanted. I can’t watch things on my laptop, I get to distracted with everything else I can do on it, thus why it took me buying a TV to actually start watching it.
But that’s beside the point – I’m here to talk about the Umbrella Academy.
You guys know the drill by now. Inspired by this Daily Inkling. Thank you Matt. Blah blah blah. Eventually I’ll have motivation and inspiration to write a post that isn’t based off an Inkling. But until then, this is what we’re all gonna get.
I’ve been apart of two gaming collaborations thus far in my blogging career – The Games that Define Us, which I totally credit for literally success I’ve achieved thus far, and Tracking Shells which is coming this Thursday. However, there is a reason why you hardly see me speak about games other than the Pokemon post, a first impression of a Nintendo game like Smash, and a lot of Sims.
But other than that, you see nothing. Sure, I get excited about other games that come out for other consoles – i.e KINGDOM HEARTS – but I try to stay out of it because I don’t like to consider myself a gamer.
Hello everyone!! It’s finally here. It’s Marvel’s first female lead film ever finally hitting the big screen – and fittingly enough on International Woman’s Day! Marvel knew what they were doing on that one for sure.
This movie has been highly anticipated and at first received some backlash for being pushed back a whole extra year. But now the day is finally here and we’re about to go in depth with Captain Marvel and I will give you all my thoughts and screams under the cut.
Before proceeding, read my spoiler warning here and proceed with caution.
