This post is inspired by this Daily Inkling over at Normal Happenings. Thank you again, Matt!
Everybody has that thing that they love growing up that impacts them as an adult. Even if it’s something that you don’t necessarily watch or read often, it’s always just been there in the back of your mind, impacting who you are.
For me, I had a lot of things that impacted me growing up. I feel like every fandom I’m apart of like Marvel, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Star Wars, etc., has made me a better person and allowed me to truly be myself. But there is one fandom and one thing that has been a constant in my life that I can say is definitely been the fandom that defined me in my lifetime.
Hey everyone! I figured that since I’m working on trying to be myself, I should probably post more things like this. I went to Universal last weekend!
I hadn’t been since 2012 so it was so much fun to go with a friend and just see what was new. Plus – The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was the best part of it and the only part that I actually took pictures of.
If you’re interested in seeing my pictures and listening to me scream about the trip, then keep on reading!

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Monthly! This is a series I started way back when and I wanted to get it started again. Basically I sum up my month in different categories – usually Life, Movies/TV, and Music.
The NEW categories are going to be Life, Fan Culture, and Gaming. Cause those are things I actually talk about and involve myself in every day. So without further ado lets move onto The Monthly!
Today’s post was inspired by this Daily Inkling from Normal Happenings. Thanks Matt! Also, excuse the mis-match image formatting; writing on a different computer without access to my header image file.
It comes as no surprise, at least to me, that I’ve been slacking in the blogging game. It happens often to me, where I’ll be really good with keeping up a blogging schedule or at least posting something once a week and then it will be difficult for me to post for months on end.
I’ve got an idea as to why this happens, and it is definitely my own fault.
I write a lot about how I don’t believe in New Years Resolutions. They’re bound to fail and I can never think of anything that I’ll actually succeed at – hence why I never make them.
But this year, I’m going to make a good solid attempt.
Inspired by Megan’s post from a couple weeks ago where she had both personal goals and blog goals, I thought it would be a good idea to do the same. Her post is different than this one cause it’s rounding up her goals at the end of the year, but still inspired me and is probably the route I’ll take at the end of the year.
Also, how are we liking the new header fonts? I personally think its much easier and cleaner to read, but still different. Also, my little font stopped working a while ago, so I figured it was time for that one to go too.
